Biography

Stephanie is British Columbian, raised on Vancouver Island.  Stephanie graduated  from the University of Victoria in 2010 with a Bachelor's of Science in biology. After graduating, Stephanie spent the winter of 2010 and 2011, in Jamaica, on a CIDA funded internship where she gained experience with the Fisheries DIvision of the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries.  Since her return to Canada, Stephanie has come back to the Sea Around Us project, where she started as a volunteer, to  work with Sara Harper, Daniel Pauly and Dirk Zeller on the reconstruction of global fisheries catches.
